Novotel Karlsruhe City

Location and stafff.

I loved that the rooms are already renovated! (please update photos on booking.com so people see how great is the new design!) Staff was very understanding and patient while I was choosing the room that I like most. They also were ready to provide more coffee (I was at Executive queen room with minibar and coffee machine included) The room was really quiet and I loved the design, bathroom, furniture and how soft were the blankets. Breakfast was also amazing in choice and quality of food offered! Thank you very much it was an amazing stay for me.

For city travel I often book Novotel as I have never been disappointed in the last 20+ years. The same here. Hotel room newly renovated and very nicely done. Breakfast very good standard for Novotel chain, while I have seen better as well. Employees very friendly and attentive, also standard for Novotel. In summary I can highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very close to a metro station (estimate 100m from Hotel entrance) with only 2 stops to city center. So that access to the city center or any other part is really easy from here.

We chose this hotel for a weekend getaway in Karlsruhe because of its location, mainly, since it seemed near everything we wanted to visit but not right in the middle of the city centre's potential noise. We were happy with our choice, since it was indeed just a few minutes away from the Schlossgarten and even closer to the zoo (don't go all the way around looking for its entrance, there's the North Entrance just to the left and behind the hotel, when facing it). We wanted to park at the hotel, but we couldn't find the parking lot when we arrived at Karlsruhe because we put the hotel's name on Google Maps for navigation and we think it may be easier to choose the Congress Center parking lot on your GPS. We ended up parking elsewhere, but that was ok. Our room was clean and modern, and the breakfast buffet very good. The staff was also very friendly and could help us, even if we don't master German (we speak a little, bit we're more comfortable speaking in English). Highly recommended if you're visiting Karlsruhe!

One can tell that the hotel was recently renovated, the room is great. Free minibar is a great add-on! It is right on the metro station which eases the commute!
